Thank you for the support!

Of course I want to thank all the friends and family members who have been supporting me in this "crazy" endeavor, such as you truly are the spice of life.

Particularly, I have to thank Carol Dellinger for being such an inspiration for me since I met her at mile 3 of my first marathon. Her constant running updates throughout the year and her periodic emails asking about our running together in this year's Arizona Marathon have helped keep the marathon in the front of my mind. The dread of plodding those 26 miles pales beside the joy of again being able to share the road with her.

I want to thank the staff and volunteers at the Sharlot Hall Museum for their encouragement and support in both my living history activities and my goal of bringing attention to the story of the California Column. Participating with you all in the Arizona History Adventure program is one of my real highlights each month and your enthusiasm and support for this idea is greatly appreciated.

I also want to than my many friends within the Living History hobby who are continually challenging me in my reenacting, interpretation, research, and love of history. The continual goal of pushing the boundaries back just a little further helped inspire this effort.
