California Column Research Resources
Weaving together the stories of history are like assembling a jigsaw puzzle with a nearly infinite number of pieces with many of those pieces missing and scattered about in a number of places. It is often necessary to gather these pieces together in order to assemble one little corner of the picture. One of the goals of this website is to bring together pieces from a variety of sources and begin assembling that picture. By placing primary documents, secondary sources, genealogical research, etc. together we can cross link material and make it more readily searchable using online tools. If you have materials or sources to suggest, we would love to hear from you as we are ever seeking those missing pieces that will make the historical picture ever more clearer.
