Central Arizona Expedition
August 1-3, 2008
Once again we will be descending into the West Clear Creek Wildrness East of Camp Verde, Arizona. The terrain in this area is quite rugged and challenging and will tax the most seasaoned campaigner. The particular challenge of this patrol is that there is no easy way out other than to complete the route or go back the way we've come. Considering that the route of march starts with a 1,500 foot descent, climbing back up more of a challenge than trudging forth down the canyon. While this event is not for the feint of heart, we face its challenges as a group of pards and help push and carry one another through. Please contact Troy Groves if you have any questions.
